1 Corinthians 11:31-32; Jas 2:12-13; Romans 14:13; 1 Corinthians 4:5

For the last couple of months, or maybe even longer, I have been putting more effort into “letting go, and letting God” with the issues of life.  This is manifest by being more quiet, listening more, and waiting for things to be revealed, and straightened out, without using any defense techniques.  However; the work comes in, with trying to be more like Christ; thinking the best, and rejecting as much negativity as possible.  Thinking the worst can be a protective measure.

This also translates into putting judgment of others, their practices, their words, and intentions into the hand of God, which is  difficult, but it also very freeing.  God will protect you.  And plus, we are all works in progress.

We are told to examine ourselves, though.

Self-examination can be hard. We tend to have very biased viewpoints. But self examination and personal change are things we do have control over.

I am experiencing the comfort of knowing that God is in control, and has appointed Christ as judge, for our/my good.   It is a source of joy for me, knowing my Father loves and cares for me, even, on this level.
